I mentioned in a previous post that I have shot a few cd covers for my friends The Holmes Brothers. Always a joy ! A side shot from the last time we worked together illustrated an article in last weekend's New York Times. The band is soon going on a world wide tour to promote their new album State Of Grace, produced by Alligator Records. Their manager is Paul Kahn of Concerted Efforts

ha! there's a Holmes Bros pic on my blog, too! -- they appeared at the American Beauty Project, in which the Grateful Dead album Workingman's Dead was performed live in its entirety, with each song performed by a differnt band. I 'reviewed' it on my blog and got a pic of them relaxing after the show.
Anyway, I hate the Grateful Dead but my husband loves them. But my other friends and I LOVE the Holmes Bros. how cool that you know them!
