Fake Polaroids New York Mini Book
I just published my first mini book titled 'FakePolaroids New York' on blurb.com. The process is truly easy and fun after an initial learning period which took me about an hour. And I am a slow learner. Check it out, it is printed on premium matte paper which costs me 2 bucks more but I think it is worth it. I am waiting for my own copies. I hope that online publishing becomes more affordable for the buyer soon, the prices are still pretty stiff.
Check it out and let me know what you think !! Also as ebook for 2.99 !!

Fake Polaroids in Tijuana
Next week: Tijuana, Mexico. My 'NY Fake Polaroids' will be shown at Galeria La Tentacion as part of the Tijuana Interzona 2012 Festival October 12 - 20. If you happen to be in the area, we will have a great opening party October 12th at the gallery !!
The exhibition is the brainchild of Josue Castro, the well known and tireless border crossing photographer who works on both sides of the 'fence', in San Diego and Tijuana. I met and photographed him while I was working on my ongoing project "LA FRONTERA: Artists along the US Mexican Border". More information and a video about it at the project's fundraiser page.

Photoville Brooklyn II
What a day at Photoville. After yesterdays rainy start this was the perfect weather to hang out at Brooklyn's waterfront and enjoy great photography outdoors. Love it love it love it. The quality of the work shown is mostly excellent (my humble opinion), the location absolutely cool and the atmosphere very relaxed. I felt sorry that I could not hang out for the evening and see Brian Storm's Media Storm presentation ... I'll be back for more tomorrow.
