I stole the title Grüne Goldgräber (green gold diggers) from reporter Peter Hossli, with whom I roamed Silicon Valley and San Francisco recently for Swiss SonntagsBlick magazine. We visited start up companies and private initiatives, where alternative and green energies were either developed or already used in daily live, like by San Francisco resident Chris Beaudoin (above), who will produce 30 % of the energy for his home with two wind turbines.
