I had a great time on assignment for German travel magazine ADAC Reisemagazin this summer photographing New York's subway musicians. Many careers started underground and many musicians return to the subway platforms even when doing well above ground. Most love playing for the world's best audience, New Yorkers, who appreciate a brief break from their busy lifes by listening to world class talent in an unusual place.
