Gilbert Defreitas from Diego Martin, Trinidad, is 76 years old and has not missed a Carnival since he was 14. Well, just once, when he was a sailor on a Norwegian oiltanker and could not make it home in time. That is pretty good. What makes it even bettter, he has 'played mas' ever since on skates.
His costume is called 'Trinidad Popeye The Sailor'. Here we go....
