My dear friend and artist Cordula Volkening , who lives in Brooklyn and holds a a degree in fine art from the School of Art and Design in Kiel, Germany, was diagnosed with advanced brain cancer a few month ago. She has since produced an amazing set of paintings and drawings for an upcoming show titled:
WOULD YOU LIKE AN INVITATION TO MY DESTINATION?
at the Brooklyn Artist's Gym
opening on December 9th from 4-8 pm. The location is: 168 7th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, Park Slope Gowanus area of Brooklyn).
