German Focus magazine recently sent me to the two places in the United States with both the highest Democratic and Republican vote in the 2004 election, the district Mayfair, Washington DC (Democrats) and Perryton, Texas (Republicans). Nothing seemed to have changed in DC, but Perryton with its 7000 people has now over 120 Democrats, armed with Obama/Biden posters and willing to fight.
