My friend Cordula Volkening and I photographed some of her wonderful new paintings this morning. Diagnosed with with advanced brain cancer last summer she since had two major surgeries and now participates in a medical trial program. The equipment she has to carry 24/7 because of it and the cables and sensors that she has to live with have not kept her from continuously creating great art.
