Michael Wolf @ Bruce Silverstein Gallery last night, where images from three of his recent projects were shown: Large prints of his 'Architecture of Density' series shot in Hongkong and Chicago; 'Street View', stunning photographs found on google's street view maps; and 'Tokyo Compression', portraits of people on the overcrowded subway in Tokyo.
Amazing how Michael Wolf has successfully accomplished the move from photojournalism to fine art, I love his work, then and now, 'Sitting in China' for example, one of his books published in 2002, is another body of his work worth to be checked out !!!
