No Impact Man

On assignment for Credit Suisse magazine bulletin:
In 2006 the brave 'No Impact Man' Colin Beavan, who lived with his wife and then two year old daughter in an apartment in Manhattan, decided to completely eliminate his personal impact on the environment for one year. That meant eating only vegetarian, buying only local food, no refrigerator, no elevators, no television, no cars, busses, or airplanes, no toxic cleaning products, no electricity, no material consumption, and no garbage.
Colin Beavan wrote a book about his experience and documented it all on film, and I highly recommend watching it !!
Journalist Claudia Steinberg and I interviewed and photographed Colin this summer in New York City.
